Practicing Patience?

Spring comes slowly to Newfoundland, some days are sunny and warm and leave one feeling like all is right in the world, then the next day it snows and the wind blows and well... you know. But I have the most beautiful orchid in bloom right now, I think this might be the third time it has come back for me, and it helps to remind me to be patient.

    1. Susan, these orchid blossoms will last for two, sometimes three months and then next year (if I don't kill the poor thing) it will send up a shoot and flower all over again. They are my favorite flower of all time! Xo's
