Anyone who cherishes books will love this short animated film. It was brought to my attention by my friend Kenza via facebook and it's possible that I am the last to know about it as it did win an Oscar this year, nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this sweet little film.

minding my own business, actually restoring two lovely wing back chairs that my wonderful friend, Janet, gave to me, on a quiet snowy Saturday afternoon, when suddenly a puppy dropped into our lives. Meet Mogul, a three month old Golden Mountain Dog. He is as sweet as he looks.
                                       

                                       

In The Pink

One of the highlights of winter in our area is the ice on the bay. It can make for some dramatic sunsets.
These shots were taken directly in front of my house a few weeks ago, unfortunately the ice didn't stay.

Eagles on the Beach, so exciting!

February has been truly beautiful, with awesome snowstorms,  ice on the bay, then warm melting spells. At present the bay is wide open and because of that we are seeing eagles in our area daily. I have taken many pictures but these few are the best of them.

                             

This young eagle is enormous! I tried to get closer, but as you can see, he took off.
