Sigh of relief...

Finally, just this past weekend, the days are getting warmer and the snow is gone (still a few patches in the woods though). We have been busy cleaning up the grounds and the beach in front of our house. It feels so good to be outside without needing to wear a coat!

George built a gorgeous frame for the baby portrait and it has been delivered to it's rightful home.

Nicholas, Framed

This cool cat is Nicholas. He was just framed today and will be delivered this afternoon. George makes all the frames for my portraits. We bought a truckload of spalted birch boards years ago and they make the most beautiful frames. Thanks to George!!!

How lucky am I to be able to spend my time in these woods! I love living on the beach but when it is windy and stormy on the beach, it is most often peaceful and calm in the woods. I have the best of both worlds and I am grateful!

Strange

Lately I have been getting large numbers of page views on this blog, like in the hundreds, when ten or twelve is the normal. At first I was thrilled I was getting so many hits, but then I realized that no one was commenting. It appears that I am on some kind of random phishing,  so I have changed the privacy settings and hopefully only other bloggers can read this. Has this happened to you?

Spring in our Neck of the Woods!

The top two photos were taken from my kitchen window looking at my back door, during a blizzard we had just last Monday.
There has been almost 15 feet of snow this winter and it is snowing right now as I write this. Though it has been stormy most of the time, occasionally we get a sunny day. Gota love that bright light therapy!
