Brilliant Mornings Lately!

Happy Birthday to all April babies!

I love the month of April, besides being the precursor to spring flowers, it brings on a flurry of birthdays, my own included, and this year a few important art related deadlines.
So life has been busy with making presents and going to parties and drawing portraits and framing artwork and going to the JL Gallery Grand Opening in their new location where, I'm proud to say, my artwork is on display too. JL Gallery is also celebrating it's 5th birthday, Congratulations to Jamie-Lee Cormier!

Practicing Patience?

Spring comes slowly to Newfoundland, some days are sunny and warm and leave one feeling like all is right in the world, then the next day it snows and the wind blows and well... you know. But I have the most beautiful orchid in bloom right now, I think this might be the third time it has come back for me, and it helps to remind me to be patient.

One Year in Mogul Time!

A friend asked me to post some puppy pictures the other day and I thought it would be fun to pick an image from each month to show his growth, then I discovered this 'Make a Movie' thing on my computer that I have never investigated...I had a bit of fun with it. Mogul is a sweet tempered, fun loving puppy and a delightful companion!
